So today I received some pretty exciting news for tedolivas.com. And I wanted to share it with you all because I have you to thank for it. If it wasn’t for you reading my posts, and sending emails of encouragement and support, I probably would have stopped writing them after a week! Thank you.
Those of you who have been following me these past few weeks may remember my post titled, My daughter, the author… A post about a cool idea my 6 year old daughter had. If you haven’t read it, just go check it out really quick. It’s no surprise that this post has received the most page views on this blog.
In the post I mention a company I found online called, Blurb. And after checking them out and fiddling with their online tools I thought it was worth mentioning in a post. I provided a link to their site, which was not an officially sponsored link. This company had no idea who I was at all. And the post wasn’t even about their product, rather my daughter’s idea.
Well how cool is it that my little tiny blog in it’s infant stage of growth got an email today from the people at Blurb inviting me to join their affiliate program? For me, it was pretty cool. I mean, this blog was never meant for financial gain. So that’s awesome.
But here’s what has me really excited. The people at Blurb are offering to publish my daughter’s book for FREE! So that is going to be amazing for her. I still haven’t told her, but she’s going to be thrilled. Money has been tight, and even though their products are great and super affordable, I was starting to think about the cost of realizing her idea a bit lately.
So as soon as the project is finished, you know I’ll be posting some photos and reviews of the final product. And no, I wasn’t asked to do this for them. But I feel I should as a thanks for helping to make this little dream come true for her.
Anyway, I just wanted to share that with you and thank you for continuing to read these posts.
