Evolution of a Blog and a Blogger

Hey everyone. This week’s post is going to be a short one. I have made a promise to myself, and to you that I will have something new for you each and every Monday. I am working to that end. Hopefully, I will be able to get to the point where I am writing my posts a week or two in advance. But at this point in my blogging, I am still mostly writing from the hip. And publishing immediately afterward.

It is just before 1am on Monday morning and in about 7 hours I will be heading down a new path in my life. This blog is also heading down an ever-changing path as well. It’s the evolution of a blog and the evolution of a blogger. If you’re returning to this site, you’ve no doubt noticed the changes in its layout and styling.  Please be patient with me as I find something that fits me and this blog.

So what’s the big deal in the morning? Well, after 22 years out of school, I will be enrolling in Spring classes at a local college. I’m pretty stoked. And the decision to go down this path is heavily influenced by starting this blog. I probably wouldn’t be doing this, at least not now, if not for it. I’m sure I will be sharing how all this plays out as it happens.

I should be calling it a night and getting a couple hours of sleep. So I’m going to cut this post short. But I want to let everyone know that I’ve been thinking of doing some more home maintenance posts. There are a few things due for some attention here in our home. It might be useful for some of you to see how I approach them and what I try to stay on top of. I was also thinking of writing some posts sharing some of the tools and methods I’ve learned to use this past year blogging. So my next post may be about boiler expansion tanks. Or it might be about my favorite text editors. Guess you’ll just have to come back to find out!

As always, thanks to those of you who have continued to support this blog and me. Feel free to leave comments, email me or send me a message of Facebook.

Till next week…..
